- Irene Theorin is one of the world's leading dramatic sopranos. It is an honor and very exciting that she has chosen Eliasson Artists to represent her in Sweden, says Andreas Lönnqvist, artist manager. She performs on the best stages around the world, but wants to appear more frequently in the Nordic countries - Sweden in particular. The audience has something to look forward to!
- Sweden and Scandinavia are always closest to my heart. This is where I was born and this is where I live. So yes, I will certainly be more at home in the future! I'm so happy, and am looking forward to working with Eliasson Artists, says Irene Theorin.
Over the last year, she has performed the roles of Brünnhilde and Isolde in Stuttgart, Barcelona and Berlin. In August, she has made a stunning Turandot, a role she has sung at The Metropolitan Opera in New York among others.
Iréne Theorin will be singing at the Concert Hall in Stockholm in Stockholm on the 4 and 6 of May 2017. The audience will be treated with grand music from Salome and Elektra by Richard Strauss with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Thomas Søndergård.
