Bożena studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London under Professor Rudolf Piernay as part of the Erasmus student exchange program.Bozena Bujnicka joins the International Opera Studio in Zurich from autumn of 2021.
She was also a member of the Young Artists Programme – Opera Academy at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera where she studied under Izabela Kłosińska, Eytan Pessen, and Matthias Rexroth. Bozena Bujnicka made her professional opera debut singing the role of Amore in Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice (staged by Mariusz Trelinski) at The Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera (2015). Since then she has sung several opera roles: Euridice (Gluck), Donna Elvira (Mozart), Countess (Mozart), Miss Jessel (Britten), Iris (Petitgirard), Skierka (Żeleński), and others.
She won numerous prizes in national and international competitions and has received a scholarship and a special prize from the Ministry of Culture. Recent engagements include singing the role of the Young Nun in Prokofiev's The Fiery Angel under Kazushi Ono on Festiwal Aix-en-Provence. She cooperates with The Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera, Opera at the Castle in Szczecin, Warsaw Chamber Opera, Wroclaw Opera House, Silesian Opera House, NFM, Festival Musique à Beauregard and Festival de Ramatuelle.
