Lovisa Huledal, mezzo-soprano, is born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. After her studies in Sweden, Germany and Italy she mainly works in Sweden as a freelance singer within opera, lied and sacred music. Since her opera debut in 2022 she has perfomed several roles ranging from early baroque to contemporary music, working with Folkoperan, Opera på Skäret, Vadstena-Akademien and Skånska operan. Moreover, has she in 2023 also worked at Confidencen (Ulriksdal palace theatre) with the opera group Den Andra Operan as well as at the Royal Swedish Opera, both for workshops. For the season of 23/24 she is part of Folkoperan's Young Talent Programme where she is engaged in several productions, there among the acclaimed production of Tidens Larm where she is the song soloist. Tidens Larm returns to the stage in May 2024 due to public demand. She also sang in Vita Hästen at Folkoperan. Upcoming season 2024-25 Lovisa will sing Mercedes in Carmen and Tolomeo in Julius Ceasar at The Royal Opera in Stockholm and Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte at Folkoperan and Virtu-Valletto in L'incoronazione di Poppea in Vattnäs Concert Barn.
