Viktor Johansson is a lyric tenor from Gothenburg, Sweden. During the seasons of 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Viktor was a part of the soloist ensemble at the Gothenburg Opera. During these seasons he performed several roles, including Don Ottavio in Mozart's Don Giovanni, Guglielmo in Viva la mamma by Donizetti, Ernesto in Don Pasquale, also by Donizetti and the children’s opera Sandvargen by Fridolfsson. This summer Viktor will be singing the part of Marinoni in Offenbachs opera Fantasio at Läckö Opera. Viktor began singing opera when he was a part of a school project at Hvitfeldtska Gymnasiet where they performed Mozart’s The marriage of Figaro, that’s when he decided he wanted to be an opera singer. Viktor then obtained his bachelor’s degree in Västerås at Mälardalens University and after that he obtained his master’s degree in opera in 2021 from the Academy of Music and Drama at the University of Gothenburg. After his graduation, he made his professional debut singing Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi by Puccini and Beppe in Leoncavallo's Pagliacci at the Wermland Opera in 2021.
