Ola Heinpalu was a Master's student at Malmö Opera Academy. He is a baritone and has previously studied at Södra Vätterbygden's folk high school and Malmö Academy of Music. At Malmö Opera 2021-22 , he participated in Allsång at the Opera and he played the roles of Captain Karlsson and the boy in Det går an. In spring 2022 he sang in On the Other Side of the Sea at Malmö Opera and it is a new opera with music by Catharina Backman and libretto by Maria Sundqvist. Earlier engagements in autumn 2022-23 included Väntarna by L.J Werle and Antonio in Die Hochzeit des Figaro and Sherlock as Watson at Malmö Opera. Recent productions is Don Giovanni as Masetto in Palermo Classic Festival, Mr Gobineau in The Medium at Malmö, Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro with Skånska Operan summer 2025 and in the new premiere of Sherlock as Watson at Malmö Opera.Upcoming production in Jan 2026 is Carmen as Danqaire also at Malmö opera.
