Julia Lindgren is currently studying in her second year at University College of Opera in Stockholm in the bachelor's program focusing on singing, which she started in 2021 and will finish her studies in 2024. She has previously studied at the Academy of Music and Opera at Mälardalen University in 2020-21 in chamber music and focusing on singing. She went to high school at Hvitfeldtska in Gothenburg on advanced education in music with a focus on classical singing 2016–2019. She has studied singing with Eva Malmgren Bergkwist, Ulrika Tenstam and Gitta-Maria Sjöberg. She was previously awarded in May 2019 the Royal Academy of Music's youth scholarship for outstanding achievements in music as well as Einar and Sigurd Nordendahl's scholarship for good achievements. She has also received educational scholarships from the Otto and Charlotte Mannheimer Foundation, the Theodor and Hanne Mannheimer Foundation, the Lindqvist Foundation, the Rabioka Foundation, August Ringnér's scholarship fund, Therese Kamph's scholarship fund and Härryda municipality's cultural scholarship. Julia Lindgren has previously appeared in Jenny Lind, "Hello Sweden!" with the Västra Götaland Youth Orchestra, GSO 2023.
